IGF-1 LR3 0.1 mg (100 mcg) vial: mixing & syringe guide

Research compoundGrowth hormone axis

How much bacteriostatic water to add to a 0.1 mg (100 mcg) IGF-1 LR3 vial, what each mark on a U-100 insulin syringe holds, and how long the vial lasts at your dose.

Some suppliers specify a different liquid for this one (such as dilute acetic acid) instead of bacteriostatic water. Follow the label.

Mixing table for a 0.1 mg (100 mcg) vial

What each mark on a U-100 insulin syringe holds. With 2 mL of water, for example, the vial holds 0.05 mg/mL, so every unit is 0.5 mcg and 10 units is 5 mcg.

2 mL0.05 mg/mL0.5 mcg5 mcg
3 mL0.033 mg/mL0.33 mcg3.33 mcg
5 mL0.02 mg/mL0.2 mcg2 mcg

More water doesn't change the dose, only how much liquid holds it. It makes small doses easier to measure. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL.

How to mix a IGF-1 LR3 vial

  1. Wash your hands. Wipe the tops of the peptide vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw up the amount of bacteriostatic water you've chosen with a fresh syringe.
  3. Push the needle through the rubber top and let the water run slowly down the inside wall, not straight onto the powder.
  4. Swirl or roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don't shake it.
  5. Label the vial with the date and strength, and keep it in the fridge.
  6. Use a new sterile syringe for every dose, and never share needles.
