Fiala Support

Fiala helps you learn about peptides, convert a prescribed dose into units on an insulin syringe, and keep a private log of doses, vials and schedules. It is for education and record-keeping only. It is not medical advice and never recommends doses.

iPhone (Safari): open the Fiala website, tap the Share button, then Add to Home Screen.

Android (Chrome): open the Fiala website, tap the ⋮ menu, then Install app or Add to Home screen.

Only on your device. Fiala has no accounts or servers that receive your data, so nobody else can see it. See the privacy policy for details.

On the home screen, tap Backup & restore, then Save backup and choose somewhere safe such as Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email. On the new phone, open Fiala, go to Backup & restore, tap Choose backup file and pick that file. You'll see what's in it before anything changes.

Data can be erased if you clear your browser's site data, or if your browser removes data for websites you haven't used in a while (Safari can do this). Fiala keeps no copy, so the only way back is a backup file. To prevent this, add Fiala to your home screen and save a backup regularly; the app reminds you if you haven't backed up in 30 days.

iPhone and Android app: open Tracker → Schedules and check that reminders are on. If it says notifications are off, allow notifications for Fiala in your phone's Settings. Open the app at least every couple of weeks so it can schedule upcoming reminders, and check the schedule isn't paused.

Website: reminders come from your phone's calendar. On a schedule, tap Add to calendar and add the event to your calendar app.

It divides the amount of peptide in the vial by the water you add to get the concentration, works out the volume that holds your prescribed dose, and shows it in units on a U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 mL). It warns you if the dose won't fit the syringe or falls between markings. Always double-check the result and confirm with your pharmacist or clinician if you're unsure.

Delete the app (iPhone or Android), or clear Fiala's site data in your browser settings (website). This can't be undone unless you have a backup file.
