GHK-Cu 100 mg vial: mixing & syringe guide

Research compoundSkin & cosmetic

How much bacteriostatic water to add to a 100 mg GHK-Cu vial, what each mark on a U-100 insulin syringe holds, and how long the vial lasts at your dose.

A blue colour once mixed is normal: it comes from the copper.

Mixing table for a 100 mg vial

What each mark on a U-100 insulin syringe holds. With 5 mL of water, for example, the vial holds 20 mg/mL, so every unit is 200 mcg and 10 units is 2 mg.

10 mL10 mg/mL100 mcg1 mg

More water doesn't change the dose, only how much liquid holds it. It makes small doses easier to measure. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units = 1 mL.

How to mix a GHK-Cu vial

  1. Wash your hands. Wipe the tops of the peptide vial and the water vial with an alcohol swab and let them dry.
  2. Draw up the amount of bacteriostatic water you've chosen with a fresh syringe.
  3. Push the needle through the rubber top and let the water run slowly down the inside wall, not straight onto the powder.
  4. Swirl or roll the vial gently until the powder dissolves. Don't shake it.
  5. Label the vial with the date and strength, and keep it in the fridge.
  6. Use a new sterile syringe for every dose, and never share needles.

About GHK-Cu

How it's taken: Creams and serums on the skin; injection in unofficial use

How long it lasts (half-life): Short in the blood; not well established
